Lots of shoes make for a good collection but too many pairs could be difficult to store and organize at times. This video from The Green Apple Home will show you a way to keep your shoes away and avoid clutter inside the household.
Usually, you would find a layer of shelves just off to the side of the door so you can leave the shoes right there as you walk in. This is especially good for kids who cannot put their shoes on hard-to-reach racks. You may have already seen shoe racks made of two or three bars used to hold the shoes inside the closet. This design is only good for adult shoes because the bigger shoes would fit from bar to bar. To say that ladies love to shop for shoes is an understatement. Because of the tendency to buy shoes out of whim, the collection could grow really big and boxes could pile up. This video provides a solution to this kind of dilemma. The technique is great if you have a lot of pairs that get stacked up in boxes. Surely, you had experienced frustration resulting from not being able to remember which box holds the pair that you want to wear.
With this project, you would need to keep the original box of the shoes. It will not only keep the shoes safe but it would also serve as protection against dust when the shoes are not in use. When boxes are piled inside your closet, what normally happens is that you would have to open one box after another just to find the right pair of shoes.
